From my past dieting experience I have tried many things and learned many things. For one starvation is not the key. When I first started dieting I thought if I went all day with out eating, and eat one good meal for supper I would lose weight. Wrong!! Doing this makes your metabolism slower. Your body hangs on to your fat because Your body thinks you will not be feeding it. Also you will eat supper then 10 minutes later you will be hungry again and again. This is because you did not eat properly during the day. So I have learned to eat low fat and low calorie foods all day. Also making a meal plan for that day will help you know how much calories you are going to eat so you don’t over eat. Also Drinking a big glass of water before you eat makes you feel full so you don’t over eat.
The second thing I have tried is diet pills. Thinking pills that cost 25 dollars will help me lose weight. I started taking them and yes they did help. Besides the amount of caffeine in them. But this is not a permanent solution. What happens when you run out of pills. You just buy more pills. Like me, When I stop the pills this did not help me learn how to eat healthy. It was just a cover up. So of course the weight came back on. Until I bought more pills. So Its a good idea to learn how to lose weight the healthy way. There is no secret to weight loss. There is only 2 ways to lose it and keep it off. Eat healthy and exercise.
My current goal is to lose the 50 pounds I once lost but gained back. This morning I weighed myself and lost 1 pound. 1 pound might be one pound but hey its a start. Actually I can’t believe I lost one pound because the midnight cravings are still there. So I guess the walking and drinking more water is helping. I bought me some low calorie foods. Also bananas and stuff to make a sweet tasting Smoothie for my midnight cravings. I have not walked in the past two days. My back was hurting and I wanted to rest it. I found some dumbbell workouts. So I will do those at night. I even got me a exercise ball. So this is a new start for me. I know I wont lose weight over night. Everything takes time.
